Freshest RootX Possible !

California EPA approved

1. We order RootX one case at a time (12 in a case)
Pros: RootX doesn't sit on our shelf for long before it's shipped to you.
Cons: You may have to wait up to 2 weeks before you receive the product.
We lose our volume discount thus you may be paying more than others selling
                online.

2. We order RootX directly from the manufacturer.
Pros: Less time in transit being shaken up. RootX comes with two ingredients that is
marginally seperated. You want these ingredients to stay seperated as long as
              possible
before use.  Many online retailers buy from a distributer which only adds
              one more trip
for the RootX before you get it.
     Cons: None.

First and Foremost:  If your sewer is already backing up, RootX is not your answer.  It takes up to 2 months before the roots start breaking down.  RootX is a maintenance product not an overnight fixer. You must get your sewer line augered first. Wait 6 to 8 weeks then start the application.

RootX is the original, non-metam sodium foaming root control in an easy-to-apply powdered formulation. It foams on contact with water to kill roots and inhibit regrowth.  RootX is accepted in all 50 states by the EPA for use in sewer and storm lines.  A 2 lb. jar takes care of approximately 50 ft. of 4-inch pipe, 4 lb's treats up to100 ft of a 4" drain line, 75 ft. of a 6" drain line.  Just one treatment per year is all that is needed.

Tips
Best Time to apply RootX:  The best time is when you can sleep or leave the house for 7 hours.  Let the foam just sit in your pipes.  If you use any plumbing at all, the water going down the drain will dissolve and carry away the foam.  If you just got your drain line augered you'll need to apply it immediately or at least within one hour.  Otherwise wait 8 weeks before applying RootX.  Reason being, when the roots are cut, they start to develop a sap barrier around themselves, this takes about one hour.  After the sap barrier is in place the RootX won't be able to penetrate the barrier.  After 8 weeks the barrier breaks down and RootX can then get into the roots.

If using RootX and Bio-Clean together.  Use RootX first then start the Bio-Clean treatments 2 weeks later.
