What is Bio-Clean?
It is a blend of bacteria and enzymes.  The bacteria are natural, not genetically-engineered.  The enzyme concentration is the most powerful on the market.

How does it work?
In Nature all animal and vegetable matter, from insects to mighty oaks, is broken down and recycled into plant food by enzymes and bacteria.  Bio-Clean uses this same principle to biodegrade animal and vegetable waste in pipes.

Like all living things, bacteria must eat to survive.  Fortunately certain types of bacteria will use for food the grease, hair, soap film and all the organic waste that tend to clog peoples drains.  Enzymes act like short order cooks.  They prepare food for bacteria by breaking large molecules down into a size the bacteria can "swallow".  Each enzyme works on one specific type of molecule.  For example, the protease enzyme only works on protein.  Lipase works only on fats.

The bacteria are dormant while in the jar.  When mixed with water they come to life in about 30 minutes.  In the meantime the enzymes are breaking down the waste.  They are very fast.  In fact, they work on contact.  When the bacteria revive they are hungry.  Each one eats its weight of waste every minute - and they never sleep!  As a result of eating and growing they start to multiply through cell division.  Their numbers will double every 30 minutes under favorable conditions.

How to use it Bio-Clean
Bio-Clean should be mixed with warm water and applied when no water will be going down the drain for six to eight hours (while sleeping at night).  This allows some of the bacteria time to embed themselves into the waste so they won't be washed out when water is drained again.  Complete instructions are inside each container.

Periodic maintenance treatments prevent new organic waste build-up, so no more slow drains or clogs!

What are some of the other uses for Bio-Clean?
All types of waste plumbing pipes,  Septic systems,  garbage disposal odors,  grease traps,  sewage ejector sumps,  outdoor privies and vaults,  RV & boat holding tanks,  cat litter pans and more.

Will it work on a clog?
If the material is biodegradable, yes.  However, in most cases, the stoppage is not caused by a blob of something in the trap.  It is several feet of pipe that is filled with gunk, and it may take several days for the bacteria to eat through this long blockage.  Therefore, we suggest that a mechanical cable be used to restore flow.  Then begin Bio-Clean treatments to remove any remaining waste build-up.  Regular maintenance treatments will prevent new build-up.

How long will it take to see results?
Some people notice improvement in a day or two.  Almost everyone will see results in one to three weeks.  Note: The cleaning process is not completed with the initial five day treatment.  The time is determined by the type of material the build-up is comprised of (grease, soap, hair) and the length of the drain lines.  hair takes the longest to digest.

Aren't chemical drain openers much stronger than Bio-Clean?
The strongest chemical in the World can't climb the side walls of horizontal pipes.  Gravity makes all chemicals run along the bottom.  Nor can chemicals remove much waste in vertical pipes because they flow through so quickly.  I've personally seen chemical cleaners burn through thin pipe.  The bacteria in Bio-Clean are live and will go anywhere there is food.  They will remove the gunk chemicals leave behind.

Does Bio-Clean contain any poison, acid, lye, solvents or perfume?
No

What if Bio-Clean does not give results?

No, even colored paper is OK.

	1)  The inspection cover to a 1000 gal. septic tank was opened on Aug. 29th, 1995.  As you can see there was a build-up of scum on the top of the tank.  Using a spade it was discovered that the "blanket" was hard and 10" - 12" thick!  The scum blanket was broken up and treated with Bio-Clean, the revolutionary product for drains and septics.
	2)  The tank was reopened 25 days later.  Most of the build-up is gone and you can now see a large percentage of water.  Since some solids remained, the tank was again treated with Bio-Clean.
	3)  This photo was taken after just one month.  Look! 10" - 12" of solids have been devoured by Bio-Clean's powerful biological action.  The professional septic pumper monitoring this demonstration could hardly believe his eyes.
	4)  This shot was taken the same day as #3.  To show that the visible scum was merely soft, recent waste, the tank was gently stirred with a spade.  The floating matter broke up easily leaving nothing but water!  Obviously if Bio-Clean works in extreme cases like this, it will work great in YOUR drains and tanks, too.
